You know not everything Billie or fans say is intended to be taken literally right? It's just a positive sentiment about wanting the band to last, pretty sure almost everyone's aware it might not end up literally being true but most can see there isn't any need to say so. Plenty of bands don't make statements about wanting to stay together as long as they possibly can, or even say they plan to stop when they get "too old", I think the fact Green Day do is certainly a good sign that there's a decent chance they'll last a long time even if (obviously) not a guarantee.

I didn't realize that "midnight special at the mausoleum" was wrong until about 20 seconds ago. This will never be corrected.

They're definitely similar thematically (written from the point of view of a disturbed mind), which Billie has actually said in the Kerrang interview. Personally I never thought about such an interpretation of Having A Blast before he actually mentioned it. I always thought it was more along the lines of Chump or Longview.

Does anyone know if the studio equipment is included in the price? If so that would be a good way to encourage buyers to keep with the recording heritage of the building. It would be sad to see it become offices or something. If I had $3.9M to spend I'd buy it and turn it into a museum.

I went to a little village fair this weekend and randomly found some Green Day mugs, so of course I had to buy one... Especially Mike's face got me to buy it

Other than the Rev Rad cd+ vinyl, I managed to find an original UK release of Longview that still had the stickers intact! (I'm super excited about that one) and I picked up The Saints are Coming Vinyl and the 21 Guns single 😊

$500 is approx. one half of an average salary over here, but most people don't even have that so it's rather about 3/4 of a monthly income. There's no way I'd ever pay so much for any show.

I was listening to Peacemaker with my nephew on Saturday evening (one of his favourites, he requested to listen to it three times before bed). He totally thought "at the end of the serenade" was "at the end of the Saturday". Went with it because it was so fitting
