It's worth it. 99 Revolutions is less bland than on Tré! and the acoustic version of Stay the Night is just fantastic.3 points

Yeah, yeah. I usually just keep my darkest thoughts to myself but with the new song, new photos and tour coming up, it's all just leaking our of me.3 points

Instead of a biopic I'd rather see one of the band members write an auto-biography. Or even a really good documentary, like the End of the Century one about the Ramones3 points

Am I the only one that didn't want the trilogy to be a single album with the "best songs"? Listening to the entire trilogy for the first time was a hell of a ride. I was pretty satisfied with all that sweet sweet Green Day greatness.2 points

Yeah. If only the Trilogy had been more like Demolicious, with a raw sound and one album with only the better songs2 points

It actually makes me feel so sorry everytime I listen to live recordings of those songs. They kicked ass. I was so excited for the Trilogy. If they did stuck with the sound they had in Cuatro I'd love it.2 points
-
Yeah, when I watched Cuatro! I understood better why they thought the Trilogy would be one of their works. When listening to the album versions of many Uno! and Dos! songs, however, I'm left with disappointment.2 points

It would be funny if he'd seriously find them earlier than you or the rest of us. Hubby = biggest fan2 points

I mean, they have a right to wear it, but I don't think that they should complain when fans get a bit angry that they don't even listen to the artist that they're sporting on their shirt. You chose to don the merch, deal with the consequences.1 point

I think it doesn't matter what band, if you don't listen to them you shouldn't be wearing their shirt.1 point

That's how I feel about Pink Floyd and Joy Division tees (both are very popular at my school) as well as GD tees. Of course, I can't tell if they actually like the band or not without first striking up a conversation with them. I try not to judge beforehand.1 point

I agree. I like it when he's dressed normally and doesn't have any guyliner on. It's also partially due to the fact that, when GD is dressed like that, they tend to attract scene kids.1 point
-
I wish that he'd either pull his pants up or wear better-fitting ones. The way he dresses now only serves to further shorten his already-short legs. It's not flattering.1 point

You know me well Jane. Add to the no go zone is billie with his skunk haircut.1 point

Hubby told me he found the lyrics to the new song. Of course he was kidding but certainly had me going for a second!1 point

If you’ve ever worn a studded belt or wallet chain, then Jonathan Weiner‘s edition of Frames will have you seething with jealousy – filled with a who’s who of punk rock, emo and beyond. See some of the amazing artists that Jonathan has shot below along with the accompanying stories, while you can also see more of his impressive shots over on Instagram. We’ve got Dookie on repeat for the rest of the day: Green Day: Working with these guys is fantastic. They are so pro, all you have to worry about is making sure you are ready to go when they arrive and they will create something great. http://lifewithoutandy.com/featured/frames/jonathan-weiner/1 point

Top 10 saddest music videos - Green Day at 8 with WMUWSE Green Day bit starts at about 3:25. I agree with this, I'll usually have a little cry when I watch the video.1 point

And then Hitchin' A Ride is basically Brain Stew played a bit differently so that helps.1 point

An American Idiot for the Black Lives Matter era A media-saturated everytown is the setting for Green Day’s American Idiot. The 2010 Broadway rock opera returns to Pittsburgh for four performances by Alumni Theater Company (ATC), a troupe that celebrates the experiences and contributions of young urban artists. The new production broadens themes like the effect of media to include the realities of black teenagers today. http://m.pghcitypaper.com/pittsburgh/an-american-idiot-for-the-black-lives-matter-era/Content?oid=19396521 point
