It's a tradition started by John, since he likes Lynyrd Skynyrd. They usually play Sweet Home Alabama and I Don't Know by Ozzy Osbourne during the bridge of Disappearing Boy

TIL Dookie is older than Justin Bieber is. Not sure why that surprised me so much, but there ya go.

I feel like all musicians watch each other's "Behind the Music" episodes as a way to get the info on each other without having to interact But in all seriousness, despite Phil being an asshat from start to finish, Dimebag was able to make friends with pretty much anybody so I'm not surprised if BJ was a sucker for his charm.

I was really surprised when Billie posted about watching Pantera: Behind the Music. I just never really fully digested the fact that he likes Pantera because it just seems so odd, because of some of the questionable things Phil Anselmo has said in the past and because Pantera just always seemed to present this very Southern aura (e.g. Dime's Confederate flag guitar), and we know that Billie's not the biggest fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd, at least. I guess that it's what I do with Green Day, though--separate the musicians from the music and enjoy the latter for what it is, without taking the members' political views into consideration.
