October 2017 will bring the 20th anniversary of Nimrod. If GD are (still?) touring then, I could handle hearing the entire thing live, front to back. Even KFAD.4 points

I just read through part of my final lab report from last year and basically all the uncertainties are pulled out of my arse3 points

The better scientist you are, the better you are at making up figures. So I always spend a lot of time doing reports3 points

Thanks to your post I went to go watch the performance and I totally agree. There's just something about a performance with a huge crowd singing a whole verse of the song that gives me goosebumps. It's just really cool having that many people know the songs from both a fan's and the band's perspective. I often wonder what goes on through their minds when the band is up on stage hearing that many people repeat their own words back at them. It must feel really amazing.3 points

You know what's really bad? Older son who is an Organic Chemistry major at an Ivy League university, spent less time doing lab reports than younger son last year, who suffered through high school IB Chemistry.2 points

I'd love to ask the band how they feel when they hear people singing their songs. After the effort that they put in when recording the songs it must be overwhelming to see that many people singing the songs back to them. They all looked really emotional when the fans started singing. I don't think there are many bands around who could get the same reaction from the crowd that GD got.2 points

Shirtsleeves are such a challenge when you are little! Great pic and I love these that are sort of 'not the usual angle' . P.S. I tried to delete the photo in the quote, but couldn't.2 points

Yes, Reading Festival's BOBD gets me every time. Its just so emotional seeing such a huge crowd sing along to the song in such a perfect way. If anyone asks me if Green Day is still followed or whatever, I show them Reading Festival's show. The crowd was huge and the energy was epic!2 points

They did Dookie a few times in the year of its 19th, so maybe they'll follow suit and do Nimrod this year1 point

Jinx! Nimrod front to back would be amazing. Also, I think the peak of their tour is likely to be 20171 point

@GenXIdiot lovely, especially the one with the blanket. oh my, we're ruining this thread1 point

Listening to their songs has left me feeling depressed and angry today. It's been a while since I listened to them and I either discovered that Green Day music is a top depressant or it was the fact that I was writing lab reports the whole afternoon.1 point

Ha ha I love how us fangirls have taken over this picture thread...any way that shirt needs to make a comeback. And the eyeliner. Speaking of pouty mouth, remember this one that you posted a while back? Oh my, lovely pouty mouth over load.1 point

Unusual camera angle. Dedicated to Jane and anyone else who will appreciate his hands, lovely thick hair, and handsome facial features...ah, his cheekbones. And that polka dotted shirt is cute too. Of course, the shirt sleeves are too long for him...even better.1 point

I have this weird tendency to look at the look at 10:39. It's not intentional, but uncanny.1 point

Go on...admit it...you were really looking at his ass, weren't you...coz I was. I was then imagining all sorts of things that are better reserved for the fangirls page...1 point

Yes I was focused on that tantalyzing little sliver of skin above his boxers. And that TShirt actually fits him, kind of tight. And how nice his ....how nice he looks in real jeans. Very Nice!!1 point
