Well Punk Rock is evolved from Hard Rock, so why not? They are also in Loudwire's list of "Top 50 anticipated Hard Rock/Metal albums 2016".

Insomniac is #80 and Dookie #5 on Loudwires best Hard Rock/Metal albums of the 1990's. I'm not sure how they classify as Hard Rock or Metal, but I guess they are more than Kid Rock, who is also on the list.
