    Ugh what the album will sound like is already being decided based on a throwaway comment about not liking the term pop punk, as I feared. I can hear the complaining about it not being a super heavy hardcore punk album already. And, it's funny because it's not Green Day's 30th anniversary

    I think the reason Billie dropped the solo from Dry Ice live because I think he mentioned that he believed a lot of solos on their pre-Kerplunk releases were unneccessary. Billie was really anti-solo for a while.
