The only others who hung around were still using themselves. Fortunately, he got a call from Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong, who had gone through addiction problems of his own. A while back I realized that if GD makes another album, it's probably gonna be terrible. Well it's gonna be terrible if they're still writing songs in the way they wrote the trilogy.

I get what he means, though. There's no representation for that type of music on TV at all anymore. You have bands doing sell out international tours all through their online presence. Which is great, but it's never going to reach as many people as TV does. Seems like a waste.
