  1. Seems to me that's just the way Jason and the band likes it. Fans made up the whole "official" label themselves, no one in the band ever made a big announcement about it, his role in the band just naturally grew from only being a live guitarist to also being part of the album recording process along with the other members. Seems like he prefers not to be in the limelight so much, and since there's no rule that everyone's role in the band has to be the same I don't see any problem with that. He actually isn't really at the back of the stage though, he's on the left of the stage while Mike is on the right. He might stand a little bit further back sometimes and interact with the crowd less but that's probably his choice, his style is less in your face and more reserved.

  2. That is true, but I think the majority can agree that "I love your BMX-cellent tits" was not considered when Billie was voted one of the 100 best song writers of all time.

  3. Soundtrack of a storm: The most poignant musical moments after Hurricane KatrinaU2 and Green Day, "The Saints Are Coming," Sept. 25, 2006 I literally could not have been further away when the reborn Superdome reopened for a Monday night football game between the Saints and Falcons. I was in Melbourne, Australia, where, at kickoff, it was already late morning on Tuesday. The only place I could find a live broadcast of the game was at a casino in downtown Melbourne. But in the pre-game celebration, as U2 and Green Day, in cahoots with Trombone Shorty and the Rebirth and New Birth brass bands, channeled all the joy and defiance of that night, the impact literally resonated around the world. The live recording of "The Saints Are Coming" from that game still gives me chills. http://www.nola.com/katrina/index.ssf/2015/08/hurricane_katrina_music.html MTV VMAs: Every Video of the Year Nominee, Ranked133. *Green Day, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” (Samuel Bayer, 2005) Green Day finally took home the top prize for “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” (133), their dullest video ever, 89. 5. Declared real boxing fans, the boys band American pop punk and punk rock "Green Day" were pronounced the new ambassadors of peace WBC through music. The band members, who in recent days entered the Hall of Fame Rock and Roll, joining legendary bands, were happy for this appointment and could not hide the emotion to see the green belt that introduced them Sean Gibbons making this distinction officer. http://wbcboxing.com/wbcesp/noticias/7382-rockeros-de-sangre-verde-green-day

  6. My point was that if a song is a "snoozefest" is totally subjective. That is the beauty of any form of art, it is open to the viewer or listeners interpretation. You may hate a song but I guarantee there is someone out there who thinks it is their favorite. There is no right or wrong on if a song is good or bad, just personal taste.
