This just sounds like two whiny, self-entitled, rich white dudes acting like two whiny, self-entitled, rich white dudes. Can we agree to disagree and stop fighting now?
Well, you can also argue that Billie's been on booze, prescription drugs, meth, etc. for most of his life, which likely impacted his behavior and inhibition, so everyone probably doesn't need to take him so seriously. He never proclaimed he was the type to say things people want to hear anyway.
I think it's correct (says it in the "Green Day Bits" thing written by Aaron Cometbus in the booklet, some of which is true and some not but sounds true). As far as I know there's no more info, but to be fair I'm not sure how much more info there is to know about a dog . Only thing I can think of is maybe the owner of the dog is known? Anyone know that?
Pity you hadn't come for a vacation - you would've seen that! Not only do we have beer and nice architecture but we also had a bunch of brown nosers for a government.
And I don't think you ever behaved like that, Tim. I was just saying I was puzzled when I read Alissa's post. I'm sorry if I hurt you, my point wasn't to criticize anybody and I agree with your opinion on this.
Yeah, that's what mental illnesses are - they impact behaviour in a negative way. I wouldn't hold things he did under the influence against him because of that. I was just pointing out he says such things repeatedly.
No he sounds justified in his hatred of Green Day in this case and in his harsh choice of words towards Billie after Billie was a total dickhead to his face. Billie sounds like a fucking prick. No way around it. Jesus.
Never heard of him but clicking the source links on Wikipedia led me to two interviews with him where he talked about it, the first from this year and the second from 2007, all he says is it was "years ago": He sounds like a dickhead tbh
I agree with that and I enjoy his stage persona but I'm not like "wow he's so smashed, that's hilarious". Jaded in Chcago is a good act but watching people being crazy on speed irl is not such fun.
Anthony Botting was also invited up on stage to play guitar with Green Day. Afterwards, Green Day frontman presented Botting with a Fender Stratocaster guitar, which Botting has hanging on a wall. http://www.niagarathisweek.com/whatson-story/5794885-one-of-the-boys-in-the-band/ In the 21st century, it has proved safer to tackle topics like war (Green Day's Holiday) http://www.tampabay.com/things-to-do/music/music-that-matters-songs-aimed-at-spanning-the-racial-divide/2241033
