I became a fan after American Idiot so the first time I experienced a new album coming out and all the promotion etc was with 21st CB, it was a fun and exciting experience so if you're anything like me you'll enjoy it . Especially being on GDC, even if they don't go overboard with promotion and TV appearances next time seeing everyone else on here anticipating it/reacting to it makes it feel bigger.

I'll give you my kids for that BSAB single.

Just something that came to my mind: I didn't come a huge GD fan until after 21st Century Breakdown, specifically after I heard Static Age for the first time. At this point it was months after the initial release and they were touring, so I didn't really get to witness the bulk of their promotion and what not. When the trilogy was released, there was little promotion and little radio play. SO if/when they release their next album and if that album is somewhat popular, I don't know how I will react to hearing songs other than the classics on the radio and seeing them on TV doing promotion and what not. I know to a lot of people it seems like nothing but somehow, this is a big deal to this guy (me)

yep it is exciting to see them everywhere - I hope but highly doubt they will reach that level again. I just want a great album - the rest will fall into place.
