I saw that in-person. And I touched that. This is the sexiest he's looked since the 21CB tour, imo. ... I'm dead.4 points

I do love Restless Heart Syndrome. The lyrics are well-written and full of emotion. Most touching lyrics Billie's ever written.3 points

Yes, I thought that was established quite some time ago. I'd be happy too, but how do we get the t-shirts from CT to the Czech Republic without additional shipping?2 points

Darn, we could have done it together, somehow. Then again, you have the EU import tax stuff and I don't.1 point

I like their use of The Force Awakens to amalgamate the two greatest things of the weekend.1 point

Nope, it wasn't the actual reason for a name - at least that's what John said in 1989 interview:1 point

So I love the official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Green Day shirt, and I think the Dookie shirts are a good idea. I just wish they could have done something cooler though. If i'm going to spend 300$ worth of clothing, I would prefer it to be like a badass limited edition, high quality jacket (leather would be sick) with a huge Green Day related design on the back of it. Something more meticulously crafted. Just my thoughts.1 point

I did virtually the same thing to the Doctor Who thread, I couldn't just rest on my laurels with that.1 point

i was watching the boys' induction speeches earlier and it occurred to me that tré sounds exactly like cartman and now i can't unhear it1 point

I can understand 'Billie', but I think this is really my first time seeing the combination 'Billie Armstrong' rather than 'Billie Joe' or 'Billie Joe Armstrong'. To be honest, for some reason I randomly thought of Lance Armstrong riding a bike and Billy Joel sitting behind him when I saw that. I don't know why.1 point

I generally prefer Demolicious over the Trilogy. Acoustic Stay The Night sounds as if he was singing it just for you. It's a lovely version of that song. I'd really enjoy if they included it in an acoustic encore.1 point

I remember when it first came out - I was at school, distracted all day because I knew there'd be new Green Day when I got home. I got back as quickly as I could, my mum was stood in the doorway, and the following conversation took place: Me: "How is it?" My mum: "It's..alright." Me: "...only...alright???" My mum: "Yeah...the chords are exactly the same as All Right Now by Free, and some of Billie Joe's lead is...hmm." The first few times I heard it I agreed, but it grew on me.1 point
