I'll never forget the older guy with us in the pit in Pittsburgh who said it was his teenaged son's first concert. I asked him where his son was, since I didn't see anyone with him, and he replied "Oh, I put him up in the stands... he's not ready for this yet." He then proceeded to mosh and was basically a badass.

I kinda miss using AIM when it was cool and listening to Green Day Radio. Not sure if anyone else used it, but at the bottom of the "buddy list", there was an AOL radio section and it had a Green Day channel that just played ALL of their songs, including live songs, on shuffle. I would listen to it for hours a day, every day for weeks straight. This was when I first got into Green Day back in 2005, so it helped me discover their other albums besides American Idiot. Ahh, the good ole days. I think Green Day definitely deserve their own station on SiriusXM radio, especially now that they're in the Hall of Fame.

I would do anything for them to add The Saint are Coming to their show!!! It has so much power and energy, it would unbelievable! One way to ensure a successful tour would be to do a hits-heavy set. Play all 40+ singles, and throw in a few new songs.

I agree and disagree. Green Day has written some of the best politically themed songs of all time, in my opinion. However, they are certainly not a band I would characterize as political in nature. And I wouldn't send someone looking for political music in their direction, if that makes any sense.

We just caught the end of some food show about pizza. Two guys are in LA and they are sitting over looking the city, eating pizza and one of the guys says he's going to make it as actor even if it takes him along the Blvd of Broken Dreams. Hubby and I just looked at each other and laughed.

I was playing Red Dead Redemption a few days ago, and while clearing out one of the Cemetery's (Coot's Chapel, I think) The final 'boss' zombie guy to get out of his grave, his headstone said Jimmy Saint, and death was a gunshot. I could think of more if I really tried, I'm just coming up blank right now.
