  1. "He looks like a Botticelli angel. We should see if he can sing." That is a priceless line.

  2. Was browsing the interwebs today, came across this little gem, one of my favourite bands covering another one of my favourite bands: Couldn't help but laugh at the bit at the end.

  3. Just listened to the trilogy for the first time in ages and regardless of the hate it's received, I love it so much and have so many personal attachments to it, waaah

  5. During those gaps between albums, when we don't hear much, I get worried. Are they well? Are they healthy and keeping it together? Do they feel happy? Are they excited in the prospect of creating a new album or are they disappointed? I just want them to be okay, I've grown up 'with' these guys and either they're writing new music or not, I need to know they don't feel sad or disappointed.

  7. That article had the potential to be really great, but kind of fell flat. The only one that they really nailed was # 8. Sorry, if you don't know who the Foxboro Hot Tubs are, you are just a casual fan. And # 1? I don't know too many die hard fans that will not list JoS towards the top of their favorite songs.

  8. I like the article. And I like a lot to read they are so down to earth, close to their family and community, just humble, nice, in a way normal guys living their live and love. As we say it in Germany: head in the sky, feet on the ground.

  10. Yeah, that was pretty shitty, actually. Like, where is the frantic fangirling, the rushing to buy "secret show" tickets, etc.? The real struggles.

  11. I agree with you 100%. AI is one of the most effective political albums ever written. It starts out very, in your face, with AI, but then becomes much more subtle. The way it is designed, it wants to make you think about your choices instead of the writer trying to tell you what your choices should be. The fact that they are not political in nature makes AI that more effective, because it is not coming from a normal source.

  12. I agree and disagree. Green Day has written some of the best politically themed songs of all time, in my opinion. However, they are certainly not a band I would characterize as political in nature. And I wouldn't send someone looking for political music in their direction, if that makes any sense.

  13. Kill The Dj is simply amazing. It's something Green Day has never done before and the result was brilliant, such a shame the trilogy didn't keep that direction :/

  14. Not really news but Oh Love can be heard in the background of this new video when the guy holding the camera passes the marshall amp and the Hard Rock hotel.

  17. Don't get why people delete songs. Even if I don't listen to a song a lot anymore, I still keep it in my collection.

  18. See You Tonight is a sweet little song on its own but I mostly think of it as a Fuck Time intro. The contrast going from that to Fuck Time is pure gold so I wouldn't skip it

  19. Yeah! It's short enough that I wouldn't get impatient for the superior song following it, and I basically consider it part of the song anyway. The only other one I'm known to do it with is Warning. Nice song but let's get to the Blood Sex and Booze!
