  1. During those gaps between albums, when we don't hear much, I get worried. Are they well? Are they healthy and keeping it together? Do they feel happy? Are they excited in the prospect of creating a new album or are they disappointed? I just want them to be okay, I've grown up 'with' these guys and either they're writing new music or not, I need to know they don't feel sad or disappointed.

  2. While Brain Stew/Jaded is great, when it comes to "duo songs" I'll go with Jinx/Haushinka any day.

  4. Billie has "ALL AGES" tattooed on his arm and they genuinely seem to stand for that idea which I've always found awesome. Definitely no age limits for Green Day.

  7. It was successful, it's just that the massive show cost a lot and they didn't charge that much for the tickets. Here's one place Billie mentioned it in 2012: "To be honest with you, on the 21st Century Breakdown tour, we ended up in the hole! We put this huge production together and pushed it so hard, we pushed a little too hard." scan of article with full quote: http://www.greendaycommunity.org/topic/89973-green-day-qa-kerrang-part-2-is-out/?p=4872701

  8. See You Tonight is a sweet little song on its own but I mostly think of it as a Fuck Time intro. The contrast going from that to Fuck Time is pure gold so I wouldn't skip it

  9. I disagree with WMUWSE being that high up if we're ranking them based on their role in the storyline; that song always seemed out of place for me in the storyline, especially since Letterbomb served as a sufficient "breakup" song. I guess WMUWSE is the reaction to that, but I think Homecoming could've just as easily followed Letterbomb and it would've made just as much sense. However, since She's a Rebel, Jesus of Suburbia and Whatsername are my favorite songs from the album, and American Idiot as the title track and eye-catching opener is obviously important, I have no problem with the first four songs. She's a Rebel never gets enough credit!
