  2. Me too and scattered was the first song I learned to play

  3. He was the reason why I started. Probably my best decision so far.

  4. See You Tonight is a sweet little song on its own but I mostly think of it as a Fuck Time intro. The contrast going from that to Fuck Time is pure gold so I wouldn't skip it

  5. Don't get why people delete songs. Even if I don't listen to a song a lot anymore, I still keep it in my collection.

  7. Yes, often. It's a great intro for American Eulogy as well.

  8. I really like the song AI, but as it's one of the more simple songs on the album and is followed by a much more interesting song I do occasionally skip it when listening to the album just because I'm impatient to get to the song I like more. Exactly the same with Nice Guys Finish Last/Nimrod. I enjoy listening to the songs I like more or less throughout the album in whatever pattern they happen to be in but when I first put it on it's tempting to skip the first track when it isn't one of my favourites but the second track is.

  9. I like AI. It's probably one of the most important songs in the band's history. I think it's really well put together. It forces you to listen to the lyrics, which is important. You can't help but hear 'mindfuck America' and it makes you take notice. Musically, it's nothing special, but that solo is always a killer somehow. Great song, and its importance in their back catalogue is huge.

  10. It was successful, it's just that the massive show cost a lot and they didn't charge that much for the tickets. Here's one place Billie mentioned it in 2012: "To be honest with you, on the 21st Century Breakdown tour, we ended up in the hole! We put this huge production together and pushed it so hard, we pushed a little too hard." scan of article with full quote: http://www.greendaycommunity.org/topic/89973-green-day-qa-kerrang-part-2-is-out/?p=4872701

  13. Yes I got it last week. It is a Washburn parlor acoustic. I can't get my arms around a regular sized acoustic and thus one fit me really well. It has gorgeous inlays as well. I really love it. Thanks for asking.

  15. At least once a week - start to finish just like AI.

  16. Yeah! It's short enough that I wouldn't get impatient for the superior song following it, and I basically consider it part of the song anyway. The only other one I'm known to do it with is Warning. Nice song but let's get to the Blood Sex and Booze!

  20. Cause Blue is not a Fender And Fernandes can't make that model anymore as Fender sued them in the late 80s/early 90s cause of the closeness to the Strats design

  22. I'd love to see them perform insomniac in it's entirety, there's so much great stuff on that album that they don't play live.
