  5. I think BJ didn't fit at all for Charlie Manson. And I never understood why "Mechanical Man" is such a boring song, but everybody loves it...oh, right...BJ sings it, haha

  6. I feel like a bad Green Day fan, but I really didn't like Live Freaky, Die Freaky. It wasn't funny and it was poorly made. Billie was good, but I would never watch it again.

  7. I don't find Longview embarrassing to listen to with my kids. The song is about loneliness. It isn't a big deal.

  8. My parents introduced me to Green Day through International Supervideos when I was about 3 and Longview opens it, so fortunately I've never had that problem.

  10. MATT GROCOTT & THE SHRIVES RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR WHEN DID YOU GET HOME? You might recognise these awesome young punks, as Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong recently featured on their self-released Turn Me On EP – as well as producing the record at Jingletown Studios. Billie Joe’s son, Joey, also played drums of the EP http://www.kerrang.com/29173/matt-grocott-shrives-release-new-video-get-home/ Billie Joe mentioned here http://thebanginbeats.com/2015/03/09/bassnectar-hits-the-studio-with-tom-morello/

  13. Cool to see Live Freaky Die Freaky get a mention! Billie didn't write Mechanical Man though, he just sang it, it was written by Roddy Bottum.

  14. I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion at all, but I think Panic Song was one of the best off Insomniac. And I love Insomniac to death, so picking it out as a favorite should definitely mean it's worth something.

  15. I just reread this. I know the person who typed it probably meant for Billie to say "'Wake up' (like in the chorus of Waiting)" but the way he/she writes makes it appear as if Billie is literally meant to say "waaakkkeeee upp like in the chorus of Waiting." (Not that it would improve anything.) Punctuation really does go a long way I guess. I'm thinking of adopting "waaakkkeeee upp like in the chorus of Waiting" as a new catchphrase.
