I wasn't trying to say Nimrod had better lyrics than their other albums. Of course, there are fantastic lyrics in American Idiot and in almost all of their albums too. I was just mentioning the fact that it has some of my personal favorite lyrics. I really love the cleverness and sense of humor featured in that album.

I don't understand what's the big deal with the "borrowed" melody in Brutal Love. The song is good and that's enough for me. Green Day have "borrowed" melodies plenty of times but with Brutal Love the reactions of some people are like "Oh why he borrowd a melody of a song, this is crazy!!".
