Finally someone appreciates Deadbeat Holiday and Stuart and the Ave as much as I do!! I'm surprised! I have to disagree with Christians Inferno though. I love the sense of urgency and masochistic buildup that boils over in the song. It's pretty much the turning point in the album's storyline. People like comparing it to St.Jimmy but I think that it is much darker - coming from an internal, aggressive pain. The two disjointed components of the song mimic symptoms of manic-depression brilliantly.

I drew immediate parallels between Dos and SD&R on a couple songs, but now that I'm listening to them back to back, even when it's a stretch, this really SHOULD be titled FBHT: Part Dos Wow! That's Loud and 27th Ave Shuffle are the same song. I literally sing them interchangeably by accident. Also, did anyone else ever notice that almost every song on the Stop Drop and Roll album uses the same notes but in different strumming patterns? (ex: Broadway and Red Tide)

My top 5 songs are probably: - Stuart and the ave - Going to pasalacqua - Homecoming - When I come around - Deadbeat Holiday The few green day songs I cannot stand are Amy, Nightlife and Christian's Inferno. There are more I dislike but those are def my hated ones

21 Guns is the whitest piece of music I've ever heard. Absolutely no groove to it whatsoever. It's just an incredibly robotic rehash of BOBD, which is why I don't like it. The solo is ok, but even that is lifted from the infinitely superior Give Me Novacaine.

You lot are so boring. I think it's actually a pretty good news story - someone with the power to do so (thousands of followers) spread the word about a missing pet and within a day it was found. It shows a real sense of community brought about by social media. Perhaps it wasn't down to Billie's post that the dog was found but either way, it's still a good story.
