  2. What? No, we all know that BJ as a clean catholic means to stay away from the evil. It´s a warning not to step into hell and sin and filth, maybe he speaks out of his own experience, and wants to protect helpless, innocent people.... Well no... it probably means picking someone up for sex...

  4. I always have room for a great anthem. The lyrics are poignant, the vocals beautiful and it is one of the best live tracks ever.

  7. Rotting is my 4th least favourite Green Day song, but it's still not bad.

  8. I drew immediate parallels between Dos and SD&R on a couple songs, but now that I'm listening to them back to back, even when it's a stretch, this really SHOULD be titled FBHT: Part Dos Wow! That's Loud and 27th Ave Shuffle are the same song. I literally sing them interchangeably by accident. Also, did anyone else ever notice that almost every song on the Stop Drop and Roll album uses the same notes but in different strumming patterns? (ex: Broadway and Red Tide)

  9. 21 7" Singles Box Set. I've wanted it for ages but it's always been too expensive until now, just need to wait for it to arrive.

  10. Wow, the licensing page has updated again to show productions in Nebraska, Delaware, and Washington, DC. Yes, it's going to be there from June 13-21, 2015.

  11. Nope! It's so different to any other song they've done, sounds beautiful and I love the almost gothic dark lyrics so it's a winner for me.

  14. How is it not good news? I don't think anyone thinks it's a hugely important event or Billie's a hero or anything but it's cool and positive that social media can make something good like a dog being reunited with its owner happen just with a few simple "Hey if you live in the SF area, please look out for this dog, ok? bye" messages being posted. Just an example of the good social media can do which is made slightly more interesting by a celebrity having been involved, a harmless feelgood story. Also my lost cat was once found because of kind people on Facebook which was amazing so I find this extra cool

  15. I think you are both spot on. The next line is I'll trade you blood for dirty cash. It fits in perfectly with the concept of a red light district. Plus the whole rest of the song fits in as well.

  16. In this line the middle east is being referred to as being the worst place you can possibly be in the world. While Anaheim the location of Disneyland, which calls itself "The Happiest Place On Earth". So Anaheim was used as it can be seen as the exact opposite to the middle east. Anaheim = Peace, Middle East = War. This is the way I take it anyway.

  17. Or maybe this kind of "slow news" stuff is constantly out there every single day, today is just so happened to be about someone we care about.

  18. Social media has the powers that can overdimension everything and anything; but at the same time, it may be a lifesaver. Retweets by famous people have helped people get treatment for lethal illnesses in many cases here, not to mention how useful both Twitter and Facebook were during the great flood of May 2014. One has to be a hateful cynic to have a problem with an article that might have not pointed out why what happened matters, but it did provide an example, nevertheless.
