    He is saying that he will grow up as long as she becomes more fun. Their maturity levels need to meet in the middle. I love the song because it is not a sappy, I love you don't leave me song. He's saying that they both made mistakes and if their marriage is going to work they both need to compromise. That kind of attitude is one of the reasons they've been married for 20 years.

    I don't know how unpopular it is but Church On Sunday is definitely one of the best Green Day songs, the lyrics are pretty serious but besides there's a simple and catchy tune like the band is used to create which instantly makes happy and optimistic.

    I vote for post it notes all over the place We actually went through this awhile back. The Rolling Stone interview says that 99 revolutions is one of the best, not the best. I was wrong on that too
