  3. Let's be real for a moment, Billie's acting makes Keanu Reeves look like Laurence Olivier.

  4. For a while it was a tradition for people to throw random clothes on stage for Billie to wear . Another good example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEdH3fo-LZ0

  7. I'm surprised that they didn't. I kind of just assumed that Broadway released DVDs of their popular performances, because I used to put in the Cats vhs (oh '90s ) when I was a kid.

  9. Top 10 Green Day Songs Not many bands or artists are fortunate enough to make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with their first nomination. In fact, among the list of 2015’s inductees, there’s only one: California punk rockers Green Day. In the 25 years that’s passed since the release of their debut EP, ‘1,000 Hours,’ Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt have clawed their way from underground obscurity to mainstream recognition by way of some of the most infectious songwriting in rock. Here are 10 great songs that helped them get there. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/green-day-songs/

  11. The latin word Eminus is defined as: "of fighting, aloof, beyond sword reach, at a distance, from afar" and I could just assume Sleepus means to sleep...so.

  12. Agreed 100% Funny, because I actually posted earlier on (possibly in this thread) that in order for it to not come off as cheesy, the AI movie must be the antithesis of the JOS music video.

  13. as long as the cast doesn't look like the actors from the JOS video I'll keep my mouth shut. Nothing but a bunch of posers the lot of them looked.

  14. Todd's original disagreeing post wasn't rude, it's pretty obvious he doesn't really mean it's seriously not okay to like some songs on an album and that he was saying so lightheartedly. As long as people aren't being nasty to each other/making things personal it's fine to disagree about music. The conversations's got a bit off track so it'd probably be best to get back to Green Day questions now. He was doing it on the Dookie tour, pretty much as soon as they were playing in big arenas I think. I'll find a video of it when I get the chance. I love seeing early videos of him doing that , he did it in such a sarcastic but also silly and playful way back then. Nice way of poking fun at the idea of being rockstars playing in a big venue but also just genuinely having fun and involving the crowd.

  15. I enjoy the songs from 'Dos'. I'm not happy with the sound, and I surely don't take as serious as 'American Idiot' - or even Dookie - but it's a good album and I still don't fully understand the hate for it (yep, I can even enjoy "Nightlife" and "Wow! That's Loud"). I guess it's easier hating something than liking it - especially at GDC haha

  16. Do you think if I went to a GD concert Billie Joe would choose me to go up on stage if I held up a sign saying "I'll make you feel tall"?

  17. I like the Trilogy! And I have no idea why people complain about it. When the secret shows were happening and we were hearing these songs for the 1st time everyone loved it and loved the songs, suddenly the albums come out and half the people change there minds and hate it all of a sudden, 1 year later everyone hates it. And you know why.... Everyone has a short attention span these days, shiny new things are all people seem to want, then when its not new any more everybody hates it and keeps shouting about what they want next. Enjoy the now a little more!
