Yknow, i learnt something when i was 4 or 5... Jack and Jill went up the hill!!... you should use sort of these things, instead of a pun, yknow, it sounds like BUN, and makin' me feel like a GUN, ( a little hungry fellow, waiting for his pizza, which is about to come, ))7 points

I love the "should I be concerned?" parts, I really wish they would put that on Dos or something. I also hate how Lazy Bones didn't have a demo on Demolicious6 points

Not sure if this would be the right place to mention this (my apologies if it isn't), but I feel like some of the trilogy's songs could pull of being on an album by The Network (yes, I believe The Network was a Green Day side-project) due to their sound and lyrical content. Songs like "Kill the DJ," "Troublemaker," "Wild One," and some others, produced and delivered like Money Money 2020, would be an interesting thing to hear...4 points

Jack and Jill went up the hill each had 1.25 in their pocket Jill went down the hill with 2.50 in her pocket3 points

What an interesting idea! I can definitely see Troublemaker in particular working well with an 80s new wave feel to it, and I can imagine a lot of the lyrics on the albums would sound cool delivered Van Gogh style. Now I'm wishing The Network would steal the albums and cover them. (Also just want to say I like your username and ava, QOTSA are awesome)3 points

No, I was just trying to come up with a new pun involving mixing up you and her that was somewhat original.2 points

The instrumental itself is great, but I can't get past the fact that 1.) Lady Kaybra can't rap, 2.) Billie's vocals are distorted to hell and back, and 3.) goddamn, those lyrics.2 points

I view it less as a badass experiment saying "We'll do whatever we want!" and more of a semi-desperate "We're still relevant, dammit!" Which is pretty much all of Dos, really.2 points

Recordnet.com mentions Green Day among the artists who have recorded at Fantasy Recording Studios in Berkeley. http://www.recordnet.com/article/20141112/ENTERTAINMENTLIFE/1411198352 points

I still don't know what Dream Catcher or Olivia are tbh.1 point

You're right. What were they thinking? Even Olivia would've been better, I assume.1 point

Dammit. Did he cut his hair, shave and start to look hot again? I don't have time for this sort of fangirling.1 point

I love SDV, but only the Demolicious version! It packs so much punch, especially when compared to the flat version on Tré.1 point

Does nobody care about The Influents anymore? I can't even find a thread for them. Life and Life Only is one of my favorite songs. I hadn't heard it in about 5 years and this summer I found it on youtube again and truthfully, spent a good 10 minutes sobbing.1 point

So, I just found something - a collage-comic I made in May 1998. It's about Billie and me fighting monsters in Egypt, where we arrived at Boris Yeltsin's call for Albanian intellectuals. It makes sense.1 point

If I find another copy of any of these and if my financial situation remains as favorable as it's recently been, I just might have a nice Japanese person send a little printed material parcel to Argentina. You're not being annoying at all, in fact, when I asked that question, both here and on tumblr, I expected answers, so yay. I'll have these scanned by a professional the moment my salary has cleared, as the last magazine is basically a book - 200 pages of nothing but Green Day. Some previews, especially for you. The other magazine, the one Ham Sascale also asked about, has Green Day on cover and there's a ten-page article. Five of those pages are images - two centerspreads of the band and one pinup of Billie with a guitar. I might be able to scan that one at home, at least I could get the cover done.1 point

This is from the "Green Day Special Book" that was included with the March 2010 issue of Crossbeat.1 point
