  5. 10 Songs That Remind Us Of Growing Up In The 90s “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” by Green Day Released in 1997, Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” has since become the go-to song for countless graduation ceremonies and proms. As you put your arms around your friends and loved ones, this is when you reminisce about the good times. This is also the song that probably made you want to learn how to play the guitar. In my case, “Time of Your Life” was the first track I REALLY took the time to perfect. Having practiced the melody, chords and strumming patterns non-stop until my fingers start hurt, Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” will always hold a special place in my heart as it reminds me of my embarrassing days of trying to be “punk rock.” In fact, I thought I was such a rockstar that this was also the song I performed at a talent show with my elementary school. Yeah, I was pretty badass. http://www.andpop.com/2014/10/03/10-songs-remind-us-growing-90s/

  6. In "Give me Novacaine," Billie says "Jimmy says it's better than here." I used to here it as "air" instead of "here." I kind of prefer the use of air. It's like Jesus was so addicted and overwhelmed by drugs that they were "like air" or like breathing to him.
