She, unlike you, has been mistaken for British in the past, so she has certain privileges.2 points

It's a pity though. Back then when he wrote most of the best lyrics of his career he sang them in a way that was nearly impossible to understand, and now when his lyrics would often be better if nobody got them, he sings them clearly2 points

Something about X-Kid just clicks with me, Its just a really pure song.2 points
-
I think X-Kid would have really benefited from a Demolicious redo.2 points
-
X kid is a great song, often reminds me of my life, like you fell in love but you just fell apart, just look at the straight forward emotions man,, i mean that is the key to the whole songs, and that catchy solo, awesome riffs, and great drums, and and and not to forget, it is from the album that reflects reality "Tre" .. so Cool!! :32 points

I always forget that X-Kid exists until someone on here mentions it.2 points

I love Emenius Sleepus. It's a great song in its own right, but it helped me through a time when my then-best friend became a dick, so it holds particular significance to me. That's going in my sig.2 points

Don't forget the echo after 'waste a night or two...' Also the echo after 'and don't wear it out' at the end of St. Jimmy.1 point

The thing I love about Tim is no matter how much he's at your throat in a conversation he'll always perfectly sincerely jump to your defense in another thread if he thinks you're in the right.1 point

Wait, Kay has lyrics from the worst Green Day song ever tattooed on her chest? What....1 point

That's worse than tattooing the name of an ex.1 point

Don't worry, I once liked the Trilogy too The solo on AAF is much better, but BIAB wins on basically every category ever so She's also said arse before. I suspect she'll soon be spending a semester in Oxford too.1 point

I liked X Kid until I heard it live So underwhelming live Just like Stray Heart live1 point
-
The hook on X-kid "bombs away..." is so underwhelming. It's just lame by normal GD standards that it completely takes me out of the song1 point
-
Everything would benefit from a Demolicious redo. I love the Trilogy, but it sounds sort of muted compared to Demolicious. While I like X-Kid, I really don't see it as anything special. It's a good song, just not one of the stand-out songs of the Trilogy.1 point

Posting an opinion that's unpopular with the regular people in this thread is quite the anomaly!1 point
-
This is pretty much exactly my opinion as well. No idea it'd generate such a shock1 point
-
Totally agree with what everyone's saying about X-Kid ... I often forget it exists now. I don't think that's necessarily because it's a bad song, it's just that its shelf life is limited and I think it offers diminishing returns.1 point
-
Yeah there's so many ways to interpret/appreciate that album. I do notice and enjoy the story, and the power and emotion in it, but I don't particularly relate to it (which a lot of people give as their main reason for liking it), and don't feel like that diminishes how much I like it either.1 point

Eh, that's just my mother in law in a morning. No bother.1 point

Well fear, it leads to much anger, oh-ay-oh-ay-oh, Anger will hatred incur, oh-ay-oh-ay-oh, Hatred causes suffering, oh-ay-oh-ay-oh, Suffering comes from prequels, so GIVE ME GIVE ME LAWRENCE KASDAN1 point

I've just remembered a load of these from a few years ago. "Furred men eat salmon, Ella said oh no" - Hitchin' A Ride "I live inside this mental cave, throw my emotions in the gays, Helen needs them anyway" - Burnout "I am a son of a bitch, a nigger and a pole" - St Jimmy "She assaulted the earth and she's dangerous" - She's A Rebel "Too much too soon, too late and now become an igloo" - Too Much Too Soon "Are you locked up in a world that's before W" - She "I'm not part of Fur Elise I'm just alright" - Stuck With Me "My wallet's farted, so has my head" - Walking Contradiction1 point
