"And you're always cracking the same old lines again" That line describes perfectly the posting strategies of some of the members. Really, get over with it all ready .3 points

This fucking thread, omg... Pure GDC gold. Once he compared himself to Jesus, I was crying real tears. What unpopular opinions were we discussing again? Jesus' existence? Star Wars fanboy behavior? Seems relevant.2 points

Darn, I wanted Dookie Lukie to assess my self-worth for me before he got suspended. Now I'll never know how to attain wealth irl.2 points

Florence's Nimrod covers are the best Green Day covers I know, maybe they are even more interesting than the original - it's refreshing to hear Green Day songs being played in such a different way. It shows them in completely different light.2 points

Yeah, that one's pretty funny, but I just couldn't help laughing out loud at her singing "I can't have sex 'cuz I can't get it up."2 points

Okay, first of all, just shut the fuck up Lukie. You just making yourself look like an asshole, quit making fun of people on the internet. Second, back on topic, Florence actually did pretty good on "Redundant" (my favorite Nimrod song). I'm not sure I'd go as far as Graham but I do think she did pretty good.2 points

Wonderful critical analysis, as usual. Keep it up!2 points

"She" is my favorite recording on AAF. Billie's vocals and Mike's bass are just perfect. "Going to Pasalacqua" is a close second, though I can't decide if I prefer the AAF version or the one from Jaded in Chicago.2 points

These are awesome! The vocals are what really make me love them. She's a fantastic singer. And I've always just loved bare acoustic guitar.2 points

Erm? Why do I need to? It's a known fact, and the band all play live too... Well no you couldn't, I offer more than one word responses and actually expand on my points all the time.1 point

The burden of proof is on you to prove that they don't.1 point

Success? Is that what you call your post/rep ratio? And you're saying Tom doesn't have success? You must be dividing backwards1 point

Vitamin String Quartet's American Idiot cover album is fantastic too.1 point

The Machine refers to her keyboard player and co-songwriter, whose stage name is Machine. There's nothing synthetic about her music.1 point
-
That's all she deserves for butchering one of my favorite Green Day albums like that.1 point

Ever been told that there are no right and wrong when it comes to one's taste of music? I am just bloody shirty because of this eternal argument of barmy gobshites. It leads nowhere, you see1 point

Bad troll if I may say. You still have much to learn young padawan.1 point

And this is a person who's telling me why the trilogy is bad.1 point

Florence and Lightspeed Champion The Machine came later. But yeah, I just wish it was in better quality because it's awesome, as well as a real novelty to hear someone like Florence sing pop-punk.1 point

Florence + The Machine's Nimrod is better than the original (which is my second-favorite GD album, so that's saying something).1 point

I think that UNO! is the best album of the trilogy....1 point

That photo is getting more and more horrifying with every time I see it. It didn't seem so gross at first, than lots of people started posting it everywhere. Considering the circumstances of its taking, it is probably the most embarrassing BJ photo ever.1 point

I've had the good fortune never to have seen it; seeing his pubes lovingly displayed in Flo's sig was bad enough. *gags*1 point

Best/Worst of VMA Performances: http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20302134_20627757,00.html?stitched#21209874 Green Day, ''Let Yourself Go'' Leave it to the sole punk band on the bill to paint an X on the ground and call it a stage. Playing a loud-fast bruiser from their forthcoming album ¡Uno!, Green Day kept it classic: no neon pyramids,no dancing lips, just the best bad attitude of the night. (''Who wants to be on TV?'' sneered Billie Joe. ''Let's go!'') Extra points for wearing that Pussy Riot t-shirt, backup guy. B+ "backup guy"1 point
