Florence's Nimrod covers are the best Green Day covers I know, maybe they are even more interesting than the original - it's refreshing to hear Green Day songs being played in such a different way. It shows them in completely different light.

Yeah, that one's pretty funny, but I just couldn't help laughing out loud at her singing "I can't have sex 'cuz I can't get it up."

Second, back on topic, Florence actually did pretty good on "Redundant" (my favorite Nimrod song). I'm not sure I'd go as far as Graham but I do think she did pretty good.

"She" is my favorite recording on AAF. Billie's vocals and Mike's bass are just perfect. "Going to Pasalacqua" is a close second, though I can't decide if I prefer the AAF version or the one from Jaded in Chicago.

These are awesome! The vocals are what really make me love them. She's a fantastic singer. And I've always just loved bare acoustic guitar.

The Machine refers to her keyboard player and co-songwriter, whose stage name is Machine. There's nothing synthetic about her music.

That's all she deserves for butchering one of my favorite Green Day albums like that.

Florence and Lightspeed Champion The Machine came later. But yeah, I just wish it was in better quality because it's awesome, as well as a real novelty to hear someone like Florence sing pop-punk.

Florence + The Machine's Nimrod is better than the original (which is my second-favorite GD album, so that's saying something).

I think that UNO! is the best album of the trilogy....
