We only joke about Jason White out of love. Not that he'd understand, being an android and all.5 points

I love Jason White. He obviously doesn't love me, as he wouldn't do something like falling in love without getting to know someone first.2 points

So apparently it's an unpopular opinion but I fucking love how fast they play St. Jimmy now. I've always loved really fast punk songs like that and I think it sounds awesome.2 points

I prefer the slower - Bullet in a Bible version of St. Jimmy. Also, Billie's writhing around on the floor at the Irving Plaza show was a bit silly.1 point

I listened to St. Jimmy from Irving Plaza and BIAB and WOAH. It sounds so much better slow. Plus, his voice is fab in BIAB.1 point

Now you can finally jizz on it. But please print the covers out first, before you cum on them.1 point

Yeah, its a difficult bit to sing, but the way it goes up and then down is very climatic and sends shivers down my spine. And I'd love them to do it live no matter how imperfectly.1 point

Because Billie gets to run around the stage being his badass alter ego! He clearly loves and relishes playing that role. It's probably quite fun for all the band to play a song really fast too.1 point

I'm with you, I'd like it if they played the last verse. But I guess maybe they thought doing both would make it too long, and would rather have the longer singalong than the last verse, so I can understand why they might not. There's also quite a high and possibly difficult to sing bit in it ("something inside this heart has died") which could have something to do with it1 point

Nope, I arranged the guitar chords and the vocal melody for piano.1 point

Oh and basically half of all of Green Day's songs ever if you throw in a G chord every now and then.1 point

Congratulations, you can also play Blitzkrieg Bop. And Welcome To Paradise if you play it backwards.1 point

He totally ruined the solo to "Let Yourself Go" at the show I was at. This opinion seems to be more popular than I thought1 point

No it is not. To me Green Days biggest appeal has always been melodies. Billie is truly gifted at coming up with great melodies. And when a Green Day song has not got a good melody, it cannot be gery good. Thats why personally I don't like songs like St. Jimmy, Take Back, Christians Inferno or yes, Platypus, that much.1 point

Not in the slightest. I dunno, I'm a sucker for melody and that one just doesn't appeal to me. It was my favourite song on AI when it first came out, but it wore thin faster than any other track on there.1 point

I listened to Kerplunk in full the other day. The last time I did that I was a total production snob, which I'm not anymore (believe it or not), and this time I was absolutely stunned by the overall quality of the album. It's absolutely solid. A few of my favourite songs have always been from Kerplunk (2000 Light Years Away, One For The Razorbacks, Christie Road), but seriously, there isn't a bad song on it at all. It's shot up my album ranking, anyway. No One Knows is fucking orgasmic. Oh, I'm 20 years late to the party? Sorry. *shuffles out*1 point

All the excitement of being alone on an album cover would be too much for Jason. Even being together with the band on Cuatro made his heart flutter a little too hard. In all seriousness, they probably realized he's nowhere near recognizable enough to put solely on the cover of something.1 point

Should I put up my flame shield now? I really just don't care for the album all that much, for various reasons I've discussed on here before that really aren't all too unique. I think it's overdone, much too long and unrelatable. Also, nothing that followed AI was going to be well-received from a fangirl like me at the time, so it just never stood a chance to begin with... poor thing.1 point

I ain't even mad. I was just telling you that Jason is a part of the band. It's a fact. That's not really something you can have an opinion on. The only thing on GDC that upsets me is that there is no longer a quote at the top of the page.1 point
