  1. Yes, they played the entire Dookie, right before our eyes. Love it how people don't believe it despite everything said in the thread, despite Vuk's full-length audience video and the fact that the audio from that video is to be found on this very website.

  3. Warning…..Insomniac….Kerplunk… all beneath the trilogy? Gah Also, Give Me Novocaine is probably one of their best vocals. Has to be top 5 for me.

  4. I got around that one by turning the quiet part up in Audacity so there was less of a contrast.

  5. One of the most annoying things about FOD, which is a quite enjoyable song otherwise, is that you have to change the volume when the loud part comes in. Because when you listen it on one volume, either the soft part is too soft to hear, or the loud part is so loud it hurts your ears. though come to think of it, I think that is probably one of the most popular opinions, but hey.

  6. yeh, these 2 albums, do not require an introduction, even if years have passed by, people still jump, still enjoy those songs

  10. Yesterday someone called me an "outlaw" at work, and the next person responded by saying "yeah, she's a rebel!" There's no way that wasn't intentional. They know.

  11. touche But to me the thing about it is how its kinda mix of the later Green Day of AI and the older Green Day of Nimrod etc. Also it is lyrically a good mix of more personal topics and political/social commentatory (not very original though but then again who is) and I personally like that retro element and more unusual (for them) arragements and stuff. It is also maybe their least "heavy" album and given my musical background I tend to love that. Its a good mix of everything that the band is good at (expect multi-part compositions obviously)

  12. Speaking of Angel Blue, I wish they had kept the backing vocals saying "blue" (I think it's Jason) right after the "you're angel blue" in the chorus, as it is on Demolicious.

  13. If you don't listen to the second half of FOD loud as fuck then you're doing it wrong anyway.

  16. Well, I'm not one of THOSE rabid Razorback fans, but I lived in Arkansas for 12 years and actually graduated from U of A. I always wondered why Billie Joe wrote a song about the Razorbacks...now I know. lol

  18. If I could care less I would but he doesn't do a lot seemingly except spend a lot of time by himself in Orange County and then a billion people tweet about it or post it on IG so it winds up on here. Then he eventually goes back to Oakland and another billion people meet him at the airport. Then he posts something on IG himself and all is right with the fandom. It's all so very predictable it's scary lol. Dear stalkers of Billie Joe head to San Fran airport...just stay there...he'll pop up sooner rather than later lol.

  21. That's what we want you to think Yeah s spellings like that, and sticking random Us in words is British spelling. A lot of American spelling is derived from British spelling of the mid 18th century. Even the month/day thing in dates; if you go to a graveyard in England and look at gravestones from the 18th century or before, most will use the month/day way of doing things. /spammybuthopefullysomewhatinterestingcontribution.

  34. I don't think it's fair to assume anything about his sobriety, whether it's that he's now drinking casually or is still struggling with it. He hasn't shared the details with us, until he does we can't be sure of anything and it really isn't any of our business.

  35. I'm just going to leave this here "I can't go there. That's my last drink. Which is good-it's documented. Anytime I feel like drinking, I can think about it." Billie Joe Armstrong, (Rolling Stone, The Road Back From Hell pg 40 issue 1178 March 2013)
