Honestly, I've lost interest in what Green Day is (and is not) doing at the moment. It's like everyone has gone their separate ways. And this weird music/movie stuff Billie is doing - I'm just not into it. He's also turning into a weird middle-aged high school hobo sasquatch and I'm like wtf are you doing I'm happy that Mike and Britt instagram often, makes me feel connected a little bit. It's like shit, everyone's old and not being a band anymore. What do we do- wait every 3 years for a new tour? I listened to Insomniac a while back and it nearly brought me to tears. I MISS THIS SHIT The Green Day world is stagnant and it makes me bored and sad

I did the same with Kerplunk recently. It's a fantastic album with so many good tracks, I hate how it gets so overlooked. I'm hoping that the success of, and positive response to, Demolicious will turn people onto Kerplunk more when they realise that rough production doesn't make for inferior music.

yes. Thank you I love this song it's like a lullaby that is sort of panicked that seems to have a deeper meaning behind the words, I wonder if it was the original Angel Blue because it has the "singing out the alphabet and my tears are putting out my cigarette" in it.

I don't think they're dying. Have you watched Cuatro (documentary on making of Uno Dos and Tre)? They were totally inspired and motivated while making the albums, you can see on there that they loved it. I think if they were about pleasing fans they would've just rehashed one of their more successful albums instead of making three different sounding albums with a retro rock and roll feel to them and doing something totally new and daunting by playing them to the public for the first time at secret little shows. They were more spontaneous for sure but that's not the same as rushed, I think they had a great time making them and liked the result so they put them out, simple as that. I don't think there's anything to worry about, a bit of a setback with Billie going into rehab and the albums not doing so well but pretty sure they're still as motivated as ever, you can look at the fabulous live shows they've played since then to see that!

I have always thought Kerplunk is seriously underrated. It's not much worse than Dookie honestly.

Yeah I definitely understand, I didn't mean to sound like that. The Trilogy was such a mess it just feels like nothing substantial has really happened since 21CB. But I understand the circumstances.
