Well personally I prefer listening to say Insominac or Warning. They're just solid albums that i can sit and listen to all the time. However 21st Century Breakdown i have to be in the mood to listen to. But it's the most ambitious and well crafted album they've made. The instrumentation and lyrics are so perfect and different to what they've done before. It's probably musically the biggest risk they've taken and I'm glad they took that risk. It may not be my personal favourite but it's the best they've done musically? I hope that makes sense haha2 points

It's not though. It's mostly just the same few people who repeatedly post about not liking it in that thread on an almost daily basis, it's evident from other threads such as the threads to discuss the albums after they came out that lots of people here like it as well (even if it isn't most people's favourite). You can't judge much from a thread specifically for posting mostly negative opinions.2 points

I think we all know that some people would be quite happy with that.2 points

Bashing the trilogy is our duty as Green Day fans. And Warning is at least musically amazing.2 points

I can't really remember, I've only seen the video once. But like Lily (johndorkian) says, it's a very un-Green Day video, it just isn't good in my opinion.1 point

this is my favourite post omg. yeah the oh love video really rubbed me the wrong way in terms of objectification and whatnot, i always kinda hoped green day were better than that. a straight up performance video would have been much more preferable tbh. the song's pretty crap anyway lbr.1 point

Don't forget that Warning flopped commercially, so Warner wouldn't have wanted to put out another poor album. But now after AI and 21st Century Breakdown, the band might have a bit more leeway on that kind of thing. You can guarantee that Warner won't allow another crap GD album now though, not after how dire the Trilogy was. I wonder if we'll have another 'lost' album in the next few years...?1 point

What's wrong with Misery? I think it's one of the best songs on Warning and I love all the additional instrumentation. It was almost a sneak peak at 21CB in a sense.1 point
