  1. How about both guitar solo and sax? Get rid of those 6 million choruses at the end!

  4. American Eulogy and The Static Age are hurt by their production, and AE suffers from weak lyrics at several point. Whereas EJN is perfectly produced, lyrical perfection, and full of some of the purest vitriol Green Day has put on an album. While it'd be nice to see Homecoming live, Paper Lanterns isn't anything special and Billie can't remember The Grouch for shit. I'd rather see them do WICA and Brain Stew as they're songs that everyone present loves and always get the crowd pumped. I'd definitely be in favor of cutting KYE and some of the other bits of the Greatest Hits montage, though.

  5. You have to be joking American Eulogy is a artistic masterpiece, and Static Age, yes it is repetitive but I love it. What?! I think they're ok when you've seen it once, but don't you think songs like homecoming/paper lanterns/the grouch should be thrown in to the setlist? It gets the crowd way more buzzed! They have enough sing-a-long songs in the setlist IMO .

  6. When I Come Around is always the absolute highlight live and I see no reason why they should ever drop it.

  7. Yepp I agree She's A Rebel awesome and it contains one of the most important lines in the album "and she's holding on my heart like a hand grenade". But yeah I'd like to know why people dislike it?? And WMUWSE is the one song that doesn't participate in the story but it does convey feelings similar to the rest and I couldn't imagine it being on anything else other than AI. And after writing and hearing that song I don't think the band could have just let it go because it didn't fit in so much. I mean I'm sure it was obvious that song would be a hit

  8. Quite clearly the sax solo. I always wanted Green Day to cover Born To Run, but I never expected them to do it as a medley with The Static Age.

  11. Oh yeah despite me being a bad mod and asking for them I've now found out we can't have downloads of them on here because of the copyright (thought maybe as they were different versions that were never available to buy that might not be the case, but it is). But yeah they're around on youtube and stuff so not too hard to track down. Only thing I know is Billie has apps for messing around with photos that change people's faces and add graphics to them etc, as he's posted the amusing results on twitter before.

  12. The end of an era. Great new thread title, though--nice one, Tom. Unpopular opinion: Warning probably had the weakest single choices of their career pre-Trilogy. "Minority" is great, but the title track is too repetitious to be ideal; "Waiting", while great, is one of the album's weaker tracks; and "Macy's Day Parade" is a little too much of a downer to be a radio hit. "Castaway" and "Church on Sunday" would've been ideal.
