And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why war still exists in the world.5 points

There is a difference between best song and favorite in my mind. If I'm making a favorite list the top 5 it would go: JOS Castaway Good Riddance J.A.R. Holiday But best would be: JOS Holiday Good Riddance Homecoming 21CB (or a host of other close songs) Now, one could argue for days on either list but I do think it's possible to separate "best" from "favorite". Longview could be somones favorite song and that is far more reasonable than saying it is their best song.3 points

9 Incredible Albums with Awful Titles: Green Day, the Beatles and more 2. Green Day - Dookie (1994) The original title for Dookie was the infinitely grosser Liquid Dookie, but I would have preferred it if Green Day just named it something else entirely. I'd probably talk about Green Day a lot more if I wasn't forced to say and subsequently think about "dookie" when talking about the band's best album. http://www.musictimes.com/articles/5951/20140506/9-incredible-albums-with-awful-titles-green-day-the-beatles-and-more.htm2 points

International orders usually take around 15 days. Sometimes it can take a little longer if items are held at US Customs for any reason, but about 15 days is the average. Feel free to email us (orders@greendayauthority.com) if you need us to look in to your order or anything like that.1 point

Yes, they had a sign language interpreter on stage during one of the shows of (I believe) the North American leg of the 21st CB tour in 2010. I think it was probably something the venue does, as far as I know they've only done it that one time. I remember seeing a video of it as well as people who were at the show posting about it. Does anyone know which show it was?1 point

Longview is good, but there are many songs that are better than it. Much better.1 point

I love the weird noise Billie makes at the beginning of Missing You on Demolicious. I've listened to all their albums together on shuffle many times but I don't think I've ever done that! Too weird man1 point

Attack of Insomnia bootleg and the Time of Your Life card single. Not sure which card single, guess I'll find out. I don't care either way lol.1 point

We all know that's a misquote, don't drag Adam's name through the mud, it's bad enough that we've lost you to this ridiculousness.1 point

Hitchin A Ride was my favourite from the soundwave setlist. I never understand any of your technical stuff - I just like what I hear1 point

I still refuse to accept it. Our dear old Tomnomnom had a mental breakdown and became Not Anyone, before eventually turning to Cocaine, literally. Every three seconds, another innocent person succumbs to Moditis. Please like this post, so that more awareness can be raised to battle this cruel, debilitating illness and to avoid another case like Tomnomnom's1 point

As fucked up as the trilogy era was, I seriously loved his striped shirts.1 point

Depends on the performance. In the one you linked he's using chords, but he's moving around them. Like he isn't strumming all six strings for G, just some. If you want that effect just "try" to play the individual notes but don't be precise about it and hit the surrounding strings as well.1 point

rare kerplunk cassette from lookout without the bar code, it was very cheap too.1 point

I'd go so far as to say that Sassafras Roots is the second best song on Dookie, behind When I Come Around. Yeah, I went there. Also, ever since I heard "Whoa, Christian's infertile" I can never listen to that song the same again.1 point

Ever since I noticed that Billie doesn't pronounce the "T" in Castaway (he says "cassaway") I haven't been able to listen to it without noticing it.1 point

That's what makes AI so special, even its weakest songs serve a purpose for the narrative. Not only does AI have fantastic individual songs it has a strong and coherent theme/story which makes it an even more fantastic album.1 point
