  1. I think it has an excellent build up. The vocals are an obvious plus. But I think it also is a step outside their comfort zone just a bit, which I like. While the melody was borrowed in part, i think the lyrics are excellent, some of the most honest-feeling writing we get in the trilogy. The emotion he puts in to it live supports that.

  2. I'm thinking one day Tre was playing a game of poker with a tambourine player and they got in a argument and made a bet that if tre lost he had to use trambourines if the trambourime player lost he had to say drums were better tre lost and there for trambourine galore

  4. I put a lot of pointless work into giving each Trilogy song a numeric score/rating based on various aspects. Mainly lyrics, instrumental, and a sort of random "x" factor. This of course isn't completely statistical because it involved my opinions, but I ranked the songs using this method. When I go through the list I made, they were perfectly ranked based on my tastes, so it was a success.

  9. The tambourine in the Fell For You demo is like nails on a blackboard. Why do they ever think tambourine is a good idea?

  10. I mostly just love how 80 obviously found that picture on tumblr or via a google search or something. It even says heartgreenday on the bottom corner.

  14. Brutal Love cracks the top forty. Top five for the Trilogy are Brutal Love, Dirty Rotten Bastards, Oh Love, Amanda and Nuclear Family. Kill the DJ would make it if it had heavier guitars, but as is, alas.

  15. The original intro gives a different feel to the song. I don't know which one I prefer. Honestly, that song is really underrated.

  17. I guess this is the best place to post this. I talked to Lady Cobra on the phone yesterday. My question I asked was how much she wrote of Nightlife and how much Billie wrote. She said it was mostly her, which was to be expected, but it's a cool thing to actually know. I mean, for all we knew before, Billie could've written most of her parts.

  23. The koolaid thing references the Jonestown massacre where they drank koolaid that had been poisoned. I suppose it's to do with following blindly without question, the narrator is jumping the gun with the girl. Unpopular opinion: homecoming is my favourite out of that and Jesus of suburbia.
