The next album needs to have that raw, live sound. Just let the band do their thing, don't overproduce the fuck out of it. Also, no vocal filters. I think Green Day has the ability to make a great album without an outside producer.4 points

It was most likely amp distortion Seriously though. In the same way Springsteen recorded a load of demos for Nebraska and then just released those as the album, Demolicious is exactly what the Trilogy should have been.1 point

A polished version of State of Shock might have been nice... The lyrical delivery is just bad on the demo, imo. I dunno if it's unpopular or not, but I really like acoustic STN.1 point

Songpop a music quiz game that is available on facebook, android and ios has added a Green Day playlist to the game. When I found out they were making it I was expecting only the hits and singles, but they actually have a fairly wide variety of songs.1 point
