Green Day - Reading Festival 2013 has got over 1 million views

At this point my theory is that he knows how much we love the song and he's deliberately being malicious and pretending to fuck it up.

I somehow ended up listening to Nightlife at double speed. I now have Meth-addicted-hamster-life firmly stuck in my head. I'm traumatized for life.

I feel the same way about the neon theme. I love bright colors, and I was so excited about the possibility of bright-themed merch. But then I see the end product and I'm just like... eh, meh. The Instagram photos kind of suck (especially Tré's, BJ and Mike I can deal with) and I just cannot handle the cheesy skull stuff on everything... I'm just not the type of person who is going to wear skull merch, and they put it or the Instagram photos on, like, everything.

Man just watched a couple songs from the shows in Australia and I notice a few things: 1.) Billie's voice is fantastic, better than any of the shows I've seen since 2011. 2.) He is putting EVERYTHING he has in to these songs (especially Brutal Love). 3.) Billie is fat Idk what they plan to do next (if anything), but I know that they are definitely back at the top of their game performance wise. If they decided they wanted to pull their act together writing wise and appearance wise, they could definitely pull off something very very good. No doubt in my mind. The real question is whether they want to, its no longer whether they can in my mind.

I still think Basket Case from Reading '04 is one of the best performances of an individual song in Green Day's career

Neither really matter when you're there though, it's just good to whine about later It had pretty heavy promotion before the single was released. It'd been on the radio a lot and the video was on Kerrang every five minutes throughout August.

That's the only logical explanation for his inflicting the Trilogy on us.

I will say watching the recordings of East Jesus Nowhere at Soundwave got me insanely pumped. Fingers crossed it's a semi-regular part of their setlist again.

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion (I should hope it isnt) but it seems that when you are a huge fan but have not yet seen them live, everyone makes their show to out to be this AMAZING thing. Everyone just can't shut up about how AWESOME it is and it just drives you nuts because you want to see them so bad. You've seen the live footage, you've heard all of the songs a billion times, all you want to do is see them live. Then you actually see them live, and it exceeds all expectations. It is even better than anyone could have possibly put into words.

It took me WAY too long to get this. Goddammit.

Actually, you know what would've made it even more awesome? Keep the harmonizing, but as soon as Billie sings "They're all out without you having fun", segue directly into "Letterbomb", minus a big speech in the middle.

I actually really like the in-your-face neon theme of the Trilogy artwork—it's just the crappy Instagram photos that ruin it for me. I don't know, man, it just really fucking depresses me. Just looking at the Trilogy artwork and forgetting what it's attached to, it looks like so much fucking fun. I just really wish that they'd pared it down to a double album, really fucking focused on getting the lyrics perfect and livening up the arrangements/dynamics, worked with Vig again instead of Cavallo, and actually had the balls to record it live with dirty guitar tone. I'm just picturing the vibe of Exile on Main St. with Green Day doing it and oh my shit that could have been the best thing ever. That, in the end, is why I so despise the Trilogy—not the poor quality (though it does suck balls) but because it was such a disappointing delivery on what was promised.

Why use a plate when he's offering up all this beautiful skin?
