So I was listening to the AAF cd today and it made me realize, Wake Me Up When September Ends and Good Riddance do not deserve their negative connotations. Now, I've really always believed that, but hearing the beautiful lyrics back to back on that CD made me realize how fucking poetic they are. I mean in WMUWSE Summer has come and passed The innocent can never last here comes the rain again falling from the stars drenched in my pain again becoming who we are as my memory rests but never forgets what I lost those are some of the most timeless line they have in their catalog.
