Damn I love these Dookie posters!! Bought Kerrang today and some of the posters are on the back of the others so there is no choice really I'm buying another copy tomorrow haha.

It really is. I can almost imagine if Green Day ever released some sort of re-issue of Dookie, like re-recorded or something, they might use something like that for a cover. It's a nice way of representing the past and the present at the same time

Thought I may as well share before I delete it but be warned, the stuff is pretty boring and out-dated. - WMUWSE was played on the English documentary, When Paddy met Sally - A guy wearing a 21stCB hoodie could be seen in the intro to the Irish weight loss show Operation Transformation - KYE was played on the UK's Don't Tell The Bride, along with Horseshoes and Handgrenades several times. - On a site called ULike they have Green Day as an example for the music section on the profile. - Atomic Garden have had an online store now for quite a while. - There was a new Kerplunk! top on HotTopic.com - Kerrang! had a program called PartyRocks! 100 Stomping 90's Monsters that had a graphic that seemed to be based on the Heart like a Handgrenade and also Green Day featured on the list. - Billie Joe played Surrender at Mike Fasano's wedding a few months ago. - Something about American Idiot (I think the musical) was featured on the show Smash. - There's some Britney Spears video from the last 2 years that's such a copy of 21 Guns. - One of those Trilogy update videos was taken down from YouTube for some reason. The 2/24 one. - Some dude is wearing a GD top in a photo from the Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson book - In the Argos catalogue there was a karaoke thing that had a picture of BJ on it along with others. - BJ designed an AI Musical top that was for sale - There was some MTV show, Backstage Pass and they played 21 guns and some guy made a sarcastic comment about how they were "sooo punk".. - Before The Lobotomy apparently featured on American Reunion - A guy called Ross Wild performed Good Riddance for the auditions for The Voice UK last year. He was very good but didn't get through. They only showed some of his performance. Probably available to watch online. - Rihanna's California King Bed song sounds like a rip off of 21 Guns to me! Alright Ceadog, I know we agree on a lot of things, but I honestly do think you're talking out of your colon here. Every time the topic comes up you wheel out the same couple of examples, despite the fact there are dozens of examples of him sounding fantastic. I've watched Reading in full and admittedly it's patchy, but it's not consistently awful, as you seem to think. He sounded fucking amazing at Brixton, the only time I've seen the band live since 2010, and personally I think first hand experience counts for more than a recording. And since you were there too you're not allowed to disagree, so there.

Am I the only one who cannot make his brain process the fact that Dookie-era Billie and AI-era Billie are the same person? The difference is just astonishing.

Sometimes I just fall in to a deep awe about how poetic Billie Joe really is. I don't quite understand how beautiful his lyrics are until I actually see them written down.

I'm quite sure Billie farted at some point, within the last 2 hours. I felt in my soul. If that ain't news, I don't know what is. Also, I've been seeing posters all over Oslo, Billie's face is everywhere. I'll try to steal one and upload a decent picture later.
