Exactly. It's ridiculous to think that the band wouldn't logically take a "break" of some sort in-between every album. A "break" to Billie is probably like his five-month rehab stint or whatever. Tour dates for next year haven't been ruled out at all. The fact that news sites are creating full articles out of a nonchalant sentence about this is kind of ridiculous.

'The only way to leave this band is in a coffin" - who said that? And, as Billie said in a RS interview after rehab, he imagines being in Green Day, being 50 and so on. They're definitely NOT breaking up. And summer is a better time for an Anniversary tour ( or to continue the 99 revolutions tour ).

I'm really hoping people don't blow this break thing out of proportion. I've already seen a girl on my facebook saying oh my god they're taking a break they're probably going to break up. They take some form of break between each album...might not be a long break but they definitely take some time off, it's no different this time. Glad to hear they're waiting until the time is right though, the trilogy seemed a little rushed, so hopefully the next project will be a long thought out thing.
