Two recent, intentional Green Day references in articles I've written, just for the lulz. The first: When I explained what a supplemental contract is for a teacher, I used the phrase "one who oversees curriculum development for a specific subject, such as English, math or science," not realizing at first I put them in that order because of Sex, Drugs and Violence. Then I left it in there. The second: I used the term "safety in numbers" to lead off a story about a kids safety fair that draws huge crowds downtown each year. So yeah, I guess they were both Sex, Drugs and Violence references. Whatever. I'm probably the only one in Sandusky who understood them anyway.

My school had some dumb earth day commercial and its played like 7-8 times now and today I just noticed there was a framed Green Day poser in the backround! I guess you could say it was the Greenest thing about that commercial!

To me it looks like someone created a trigoly theme background and put a picture from the Shepherd's Bush show.
