I had a written exam this morning...I was anwering the questions and while I was thinking about what to write I noticed that on the desk it was written "Don't look away from the arms of love", written in pencil. I was like jsdghfdjgv
I wrote "See you on the 24th" next to it
Aww yeah. Page own in my favorite thread
I wonder what it's like to be Billie, knowing that thousands and thousands of girls find every bit of him so damn attractive. Like, every bit of him.
To this day I do not understand how he pulls these jumps off. Not only is it a decent amount of air he gets, but that he can curl his legs up into that position and still hold the guitar firmly in place (and the chord for that matter) is just amazing. He does it like it's no bigger deal than doing the windmill. And I don't think he has ever flunked a landing, though it would be fun to watch.
I never mistook this one, but someone else on this forum mentioned a long time ago they thought "Welcome to Paradise" said "Pay attention to the cracked streets and the broken gnomes". It's always made me giggle when I listen to WTP.
WHA??? I didn't know that's what it said. I've always sang "The television set extortionist", as in an infomercial or something. I've moved this to the Green Day Chat forum. I think it makes sense to have it here since we're not talking specifically about an album or song.
Letterbomb "The television's an extortionist, and it don't even know that you exist"
is a way better line than "the town preacher" it makes the tv seem alive, innit? It's the kind of imagery that is dotted around the album, and fits with the themes he talks about in American Idiot (the song).
