Not really a meme, but it's fucking funny! Mara (Mara Garcia Green Day) posted it on Facebook and I just had to! Billie's a fish!

Yeah, I remember that. In this case I hope it's true. So I had a new one last night. I guess I'm finally back to having Green Day dreams every night again! I was with Billie Joe and he was getting ready to go to a concert. He was meeting Mike and Tré there for some reason I guess instead of being with them. Anyway, the problem was he had to get there by helicopter and Billie said that he always gets seriously nauseated when traveling in a helicopter because the motion sickness is much worse then in an airplane. He said that he usually tries to distract himself by focusing on his favorite flavor of ice cream and imagining that all food tastes like that. (what?) But since I was there this time, I could help to distract him too. The next thing I knew, we were in the cargo hold of the helicopter that had been waiting and Billie was lying on the floor with his eyes closed. He was overheated from the motion sickness so I was keeping my hand on his forehead to cool him down since my hands are almost always cold. I was also talking to him about his Instagram account and what pictures he was going to post to distract him from feeling sick. Billie was really hot still so I moved my hands to his chest and held them there for awhile too while I continued to talk to him to keep his mind off of vomiting. Apparently whatever I did worked because we got there and Billie was able to get out into the fresh air and solid ground where he could recover.

Letterbomb "The television's an extortionist, and it don't even know that you exist" is a way better line than "the town preacher" it makes the tv seem alive, innit? It's the kind of imagery that is dotted around the album, and fits with the themes he talks about in American Idiot (the song).

In Homecoming when he says "I started fucking running as soon as my feet touched ground" I always thought he said something about pizza. I can't remember exactly what I thought it was, but whenever I'd listen to that part I'd always think it never made sense.
