Hot damn

^ I'm the girlfriend in that paragraph, so yeah, met Mike @ The Frustrators show (picture below). To add- we hugged and he said it was a great hug and that made my life. Ahah! He's very nice. ALSO- Jason from the Frustrators is the shit. He's awesome. Ahah. Met him there and he was cracking jokes and being hilarious then also continued to talk to him a lot on facebook after he's very friendly. But also I went to that Hot Topic Meet & Greet in 2009 and met everybody! Stuffismessedup was supposed to go too but when my mom went to buy the 2 shirts to get wristbands, they only allowed her to get one and he wasn't able to get one before the date :'( Snooty Hot Topic employees... But yeah. It was really cool I got a little too excited. Mike talked to me a little but I was just so, I guess starstruck, at the time that I didn't really hear him but I shook his hand and told him that they were wonderful. Then Billie was very sweet. I told him they were wonderful too and he was like "Awww, thanks! What's your name?" And put my name on the autograph and was all sweet. People were saying Tre was sick or jet lagged that day cause he was totally quiet so that was kinda a bummer. Very cool experience none the less:

I really hate iHeart jokes, but......

So back in February of 2011 I went to the Frustrators show in LA at the troubadour and knew that i would probably get to meet the band at some point that night. so i went to the merch stand and hung out with jason and terry and then we went in because the show was about to start. The first band goes on and it is me, my dad and my girlfriend. Yeah i was 17 and at a concert with my dad, but im now 19 and still dont drive and plus hes digs all the music i listen to and loves shows so i'm totally fine.as the first band is playing my dad turns around and whose behind us in the pit? Mike. My dad shakes his hand and says hows it going. But then these girls went up to mike and put papers in his face most likely to sign and he looked bugged and moved and started moshing in the middle. I could have cried because i thought that i missed my chance to meet Mike. Then we watched the show and had a bunch of fun. and after the show we hung around the stage to see if we could find Mike and had no luck. so we went back to the merch stand after the show to actually buy the stuff we wanted. we stood in line and i was sad then out of nowhere when were at the front of the line Mike runs up and sits on the couch next to us! We talked and got pictures and told him how awesome the show was and stuff. He was said he was pretty drunk and had to look at our pictures to make sure he didnt look too bad. but yeah super nice and funny and something ill remember forever. Then when i went to the American Idiot musical he sat a few rows in front of our group and i'm sure if my cousins didnt fight and force me to leave early i could have talked to him again. but i cant complain. i was also supposed to go to the Jimmy Kimmel Show and Burbank signing that got cancelled which also seem like they would be good opportunities.

I'd love to meet Green Day. It's the first thing on my Bucket List. So far I've only met them in my dreams . Haha I wouldn't want to freak out a scream and jump on them though. I would try and play it cool. Mike did wave to my sisters, friend and I. We saw him down by the tour buses and we were at the top walking back to line and we saw Mike we all screamed Mike, Mike, Mike then he turned around help up his bass and waved. Haha made our day, so much cooler than running into Hunter from AFI moments after that. I wanna meet themso bad!

Well I can't speak for Billie and Tre (except the couple of times that I've spoken to them that didn't really count, like bumping into them in an airport and being like "HI!"), but Mike is everything you could hope for haha. I asked him to draw a bass clef behind my ear and he drew a dot and goes "It's a beauty spot!" and then left the building and went home. it was amazing haha, little asshole.

I met Mike at the Frustrators. He was a massive goofball that kept yelling at me and pushed me around a couple of times. He can't draw/write or read music, and he is a snarky asshole I loved it. I also told him he was the inspiration for everything I want to be in my life and he said "awww" and initiated a hug. He also told me a great story about Belinda Carlisle and her boobs, judged me for being dirty and flying to the US on a credit card, and initiated the goodbye hug when I told him I had to fly home to Aus the next day. Aaand he took a photo of my tattoo on his phone. He was perfect :') and I have no need to meet the others because nothing could top that weekend.

I met Green Day at a meet and greet in 2010. Mike signed my cd and said nothing, Billie signed my cd and passed it on, the Tre signed it and said "I like your shirt" (I was wearing my Foxboro Hottubs one) and I said "thanks, I was trying to be different" and Billie looked up from whatever he was signing and said " different is good" and I said "thanks" and grabbed my stuff and ran out of the store. Then I started crying a little, so I put on my sunglasses and continued out of the mall. It was intense is all, and I'm an emotional person, I'm just glad I didn't lose it in front of them. I was prefectly happy just getting something signed and be on my way, but that I conversed with them... it was awesome.
