  2. For the longest time when Good Riddance first came out, and I was younger, I thought it was "It's something unpredictable, the indian was right". It kind of makes sense?

  7. Whoa, been away from GDC for a while and just figured there's a new like button. Time to abuse the HELL outta it. Anyway, since i just got the special edition of AI in the post yesterday (and for the first time owned a lyrics booklet for AI) i'm figuring out the correct lyrics to songs i've been listening to for YEARS and didn't know i had wrong. From St. Jimmy: "I'm the resident weener of the lost and found." From Extraodinary Girl: "He lacks the courage in his mind/Like a child left behind/Like a pig left in the rain." And quite a few other ones.

  9. I found this, it looks to be very rare, check this out. It's a rare Green Day cassette entitled "Six Oreos & A Coke". This was a promo release from 1997, just before the band's "Nimrod" album was released. It features Billie Joe being interviewed by a young, high school music writer (David Malitz, who has gone on to cover music for the Washington Post in Washington, D.C. for the last 8 years). If memory serves correct, these tapes were sent out to high school newspapers by Reprise Records, and may not have have gone out anywhere else, so this is a rare Green Day artifact indeed. The label says "A special high school only Green Day interview. Further Green Day edification & insight for your exclusive use!" Here is the link for people that want to check it out http://www.ebay.com/itm/Green-Day-Six-Oreos-A-Coke-rare-promo-interview-cassette-Nimrod-Dookie-/120973281316?pt=Music_Cassettes&hash=item1c2a91c824

  11. I always thought that in Letterbomb it was "where will all the mortars go" but its actually "where will all the martyrs go" The first time I heard Homecoming I thought that the line went "I started fucking running as soon as my pizza drowned" and I thought it was really stupid so I checked it and felt stupid...

  13. The first time I listen to Brain Stew I thought that Billie said " I'm caught in shit but running out" instead of "I'm counting sheep but running out" . Then I listened it more carefully and I realize that he said something different. LOL I don't know what the hell I was thinking.
