Clearly he does because he spent his time writing a tweet that would diss his own fans trying to honor them by voting for them. I fully understand Green Day not caring about the trophy, but at the very least if you mention the contest, show respect for your fans working for you.

Why does what Frank said even matter so much? I get that he didn't word it in the greatest of ways, but just because he said that doesn't mean you can't vote at all. I mean, his word isn't the be all and end all; it won't make you a 'bad fan' if you vote for mcr anyway. Besides, if you think about the number of tweets band members must get about this poll and others similar to it, you can see why it'd get annoying. How long do we have for voting in each round? Like, how many hours/days? Total newb to the whole March Madness thang. While I was voting last night I came on to this thread and I was like ''mckcnhvgf wow. All Green Day fans coming together to kick some ass, just wow. '' I was so fired up.
