Yes yes yes - could not agree with you more! A lot of people seem very eager to have it on the new album, but as much as it's a cool-sounding song, and probably lots of fun to hear live, no way does it hold the quality of a Green Day song. FBHT? Yeah sure, but to be quite frank I would be embarrassed if it was on the new record. I really don't think it will be, but I just don't see why so many people want them to release it (not as Green Day, anyway). But hey, that's just me - I guess I just like their songs to have a little more substance than 'oh baby baby it's fuck time'.
