I think it's a great idea that we nominate Green Day as well!!! Billie Joe is already there, what if we managed to get Green Day right up there too? Sure, it would take a bit longer. I think people will take even more notice if both names are up there, even though they're essentially the same thing. To quote Billie Joe... "I am Green Day" We are Green Day. Who wants to nominate them? If no one steps forward, i'll do it Also, just so you know, i think this vote is 'unofficial' - however, i think it's still possible that it could make a difference in the final decision. So please, if you can, go ahead and vote (whether it's for Billie Joe/Green Day or someone else... like Busted! )

yeah apparently if you wait for a while after you vote the first time, you can vote again...but Green Day aren't already on the list However I was thinking...when only Billie was supposed to go the interview in NYC, the whole band went...and when the whole band was supposed to go to the Mark Twain Prize, only Billie Joe went...so we never know

I just don;t think Green Day are the right people to perform at the London Olympics! Should be a British band. But I'm not totally against it as I auditioned for the Olympic ceremonies and got through the first round, got another audition for drumming and am waiting to hear whether I'm in or not...
