Yeah, I get what you mean, but there's a big, big difference to playing music with your friends over the summer than there is to actually putting an album together. From what I can gather, that's all they've done so far, with the distractions of summer and friends and family adding to that. So yeah they're having a good time and playing music, but it's not like work to them. However, recording an album is. That might take time. Longer than I think a lot of people are allowing at the moment. How do you know they don't need more time off?! That's my exact point here. Everyone is getting way too far ahead of themselves just because we've had this show and all these new songs. People are expecting a new album within months and that's just not realistic in the slightest.

The "fan girl" term is unnecessary. If you don't like any of the picture threads that's no reason to come here and try to be "funny". What gives you the right to do that?

I agree 100%. If Green Day 'needed a break' they would be taking one. No one told Billie, Mike, and Tre that they had to start recording songs right now. No one told Billie, Mike, and Tre that they had to do a mini GD show in California. No one told Billie he had to be St. Jimmy for the AI musical. It was Billie, Mike, and Tre's choice to do all of those things. They like to be kept busy. They don't take breaks because they love their job. They love music. They live for music.

They like working. I don't get why everyone is saying this.

I don't think they need to push an album release date up 2 or 3 years just to remind people they're still relevant. These guys have nothing whatsoever left to prove.
