I just remembered a really awful one. When I first heard 21 Guns I was totally convinced that the line "your faith walks on broken glass" was "your faith wants a milking glass". And my friend thought "from here to eternity" in Know Your Enemy was "fuck me to eternity"

when i first heard boulevard on the radio i thought that the lyric "wish someone out there will fine me" was "some mono-bear will find me", then i came to my senses and said to myself. 'no no no, don't be silly. there's no such thing as a mono-bear. he says "koala-bear" ' but then i realised it wasn't that pretty quick (after 1 listening really), thought it was "polar-bear" for about a year and then it suddenly clicked one day... and no, i couldn't have looked it up on the internet. 'back in the day' of 2004-2005, the rents though that broadband was 'unnecessary'. what can i say... i'm glad they came to their senses too. join... the club ;D

oh in Nice Guys Finish Last I always heard "Pressure cooker bake my brain" instead of "pressure cooker pick my brain." and I still don't know all the words to When I Come Around. I just go "blah-blah-blah BLAH blah blah blahhh blah...and you can't go forcing something if it's just not right..."
