    Thanks! In some songs it is very difficult to understand lyrics... I'm not English neither American so... Sometimes I say something strange... For example: in American Idiot, I was singing "the soap opera might fuck America" instead of "the subliminal mind fuck America" and (oh my God ) "all across the any another nations" instead of "all across the alienation" before I read the correct lyrics! Ahahah!

It's City of the DEAD, At the end of another lost highway, Signs misleading to nowhere, City of the DAMNED, Lost children with dirty faces today, No one really seems to care I never used to hear the "dead" either until I noticed in the lyrics in the booklet. Now I know about it, I can hear it.

    One of the things the song's about is revenge, and I think he's saying getting revenge is like an orgasm. All that hate for someone builds up, and then you get a huge feeling of satisfaction when you finally get revenge - just like the build up and release of an orgasm. An orgasm is one kind of spasm and revenge is a "spasm of love and hate" - in that moment you're full of hate for the person and at the same time love getting revenge on them.
