I'm going to stay out of this argument for the rest, but Mallory is not trying to mess it up, nor is she harassing you. She is trying to help. Maybe you could try to be more open to criticism and people saying things you don't agree with.

Dawn, for god's sake, no one is mad at you or asking you to stop or anything at all. It's really great you're doing all this, but as soon as someone mentions something that it isn't 100% perfect, you immediately start talking about stopping and leaving. It's impossible to please everyone and no one is asking that, but you keep saying it's for all the fans, yet as soon as someone disagrees with you, a whole drama starts. All Mallory did was saying that the website was made using a flash generator, and trying to help you because she thought that you were swindled. Helping you. And no one is going to go to the website and talk shit, I don't know where you get that from. No one is bashing you.

It's extremely frustrating the way you go on and on about your physical and mental pains everytime we do anything less than pat you on the back. You said it yourself, you don't know much about computing, so when others who do know lots about computing tell you that your 'webdesigner' royally fucked you up the ass, well, it means that your webdesigner has just royally fucked you up the ass. If we want to be taken seriously with Green Day Across The World, the website Renee tossed together for you with that childish Flash generator is not the way to accomplish this. You may think it looks awesome, but to be perfectly honest, the large organisations and companies you want to sponsor you aren't going to share that opinion. Seriously, Dawn, can't you contact this Renee swine and demand your money back? I'll create a website ten times better better than the one you have now for free if you want me to! I swear on Green Day's music I will!

Fuck off. There's a difference between disliking the way the site looks and being a dick about it. And it's not like you are or were previously involved in the project. You can have an opinion about the website all you want, but those posts being rude are the only ones you've made in here and that's just uncalled for.

I want to fully apologize to everyone. When I asked for help maybe I should have been more specific about what I needed. Mallory I want to apologize to you from the bottom of my heart and hope you will except it. It would have been awesome if I knew you could build this website and helped me, but I didn't and I hired someone I hope you don't take offense to this but I am going to keep the site I have, I love it and I have gotten great responses and donations since it launched. I got donations before it launched so I think its the cause that people are most interested in. I'm sorry for the inappropriate things I may have said when I took negative comments personal. and anyone else that may have taken offense to what I said I'm sorry. I guess I got upset because I have put lots into this because this cause is very important to me. I have taken out loans to help finance this and I have donated my entire 20 yr collection to this cause. I have some of the rarest and coolest Green Day Memorabilia over these past to decades and my collection is huge the only thing I'm keeping in my regular GD CD's. So hopefully some of you may understand why I got so upset over negative comments because I have given all I have to this cause because I believe in this event whole heartedly. But that is no excuse for getting upset and getting with Mallory or anyone else. This cause is so very important I don't want to destroy it by petty fighting. The only fighting that should be being done is fighting for this cause because Green Day and World we live in deserve no less than every possible thing we can do to make this event as successful as we possibly can. I hope everyone excepts my apologies and we can all come together and take care of this task on hand. ok? I love all of you guys you are my Green Day family You guys are one of the few thing I have. So lets come together and do this. And if anyone else wants a formal apology I will gladly give it because this event is to important to be clouded animosity.

Thanks to everyone that said that the Quiz was a good idea What we're thinking of doing in Spain is: Before the event: -Sticking posters on streets and printing flyers for the media. -Talking with a restaurant (hamburguer and sandwich place, not like a "proper" restaurant) so that they give us free or cheaper food if we name them in all the promotion we make of the event. The day of the event: -Planting trees. -Doing a karaoke with Green Day songs. -Letting bands play Green Day songs. -Playing that quiz. -Getting money out of selling T-shirts and other items that we haven't decided yet. If we can get the t-shirts out of the official website, someone will buy a bunch of them there and re-sell them on the 28th. This person will only have to pay the shipping once for 20 t-shirts or so, so we can sell them for 20€ or something like that, that it's cheaper than if everyone went to buy their own one (because of the shipping) and we'll make a few euros from each t-shirt. This money will go to expenses of the event, and if we make enough, we'll donate it to some organization we haven't decided yet.

Yay, the site's finally up! I freakin' love it, it came together quite awesomely, if I may say! However, I do have my qualms with it. For one thing, the designer really should have considered using something other than Flash for the entire site ... I have a top of the line Sony Vaio CS with three gigabytes of RAM and the latest Intel processor, and it's still running insanely slowly. Flash should have been used for the home page only, not the entirety of the site! x_x; Imagine how the site would run on a mobile device, if at all ...? Eeep ... Also, the site returns 22 markup errors using the W3C's markup validation service, ((The W3C is a group of organisations from around the world that actually created the World Wide Web as we know it today, with a man named Time Berners-Lee leading the pack,)) Which is not a good thing at all. This means that the site won't display in all browsers and all computers. Heck, it might not even show up at all for some people! And this is not a good thing ... Plus, while all the information the site holds is sweet as Hell, the way it's displayed is less than satisfactory ... The text is so blurry and hard to read against all the busy backgrounds, and some of the pictures are slightly stretched horizontally or vertically, most notably the site's title across the top of every page. x_x; I feel bad saying this, but damn, I expected something perfect, or near perfect, for the price you paid, Dawn. I could've created something along those lines for free for this project if I had've known you were planning to launch a site awhile back ... The web designer should fix all of these issues, and for free --- You should demand this, Dawn, you paid enough for the damn thing! Edit: Just found out that your webdesigner, Renee N Chamberlain, ((User rchamberlain417 on Wix.Com,)) used Wix.Com's Flash generator to create the entire site ... This is shocking to me, as I assumed Renee would be creating the whole thing from scratch! I found this out by clicking on the 'Donate' link under the description of the site on the Home page, and then clicking on the 'Return to donations coordinator.' link on the bottom of that page. As you can see, it forwards you to an error page hosted on Wix.Com, which, of course, means the entire site is hosted on Wix.Com. A quick viewing of Wix.Com and the services they provide only solidifies this fact. However, if you really want to continue use Wix.Com's services, you needn't rely on Renee to do so --- Check out this page, click on Wix Premium Plans, and you'll see what I mean! You should be paying no more than $16.17 a month for your site. That's under $200 a year, and anyone could do it --- It's a Flash generator, so no techinical knowledge is required! You were swindled, Dawn, you were swindled very badly, and this angers me. I despise rip off artists.

Mallory if you want to check her out go ahead. if you keep talking about her and her business you are going your going to wind up getting sued for defamation of character because in publicly saying things that could harm her business could get u sued. By saying the harsh stuff u have said could hurt her business. you know how some people just believe stuff with out checking the facts.
