It was spectacular! There are no words, so I apologise if this is incoherent. The front row is amazing, but yes, lots of spit (Esper) and lots of sweat (JGJ)! Billie was fantastic. I reallly thought you could tell the difference between theater Billie and concert Billie. His voice sounded great and enunciation was good too. Every time he was on the stage it was hard to tear your eyes away from him, even if something else more prominent was happening. He is so tiny though, that sometimes the other actors blocked him in some scenes where he is in the background - but that was just at the angle I was at. He stood in front of 105 at the end when they were taking the final bow, but that is possilby as he had many flowers to collect. Both the people beside me brought them so I felt bad for bringing nothing (except my undying love and devotion!!). Outside there was a big crowd waiting at the main stage door. He snook out the other one, but when everyone heard this there was a mad rush over there - it was really disturbing, I hope 44th street doesn't get much traffic for the next 2 months. Some of the actors signed stuff and took pictures but I was too far back. Afterwards, I left and walked towards Times Square where I saw Adrienne and the boys. Very cool.

I'm sure we all would, but if it's not going to happen, it's not going to happen and we can at least enjoy what the band IS releasing. Awesome as Fuck is definitely not going to be another Bullet in a Bible, much less anything on par with HLAHG in terms of backstage stuff and all that, but at least it's something, and we should be at least a little bit grateful that they're releasing something. Don't get me wrong, I want HLAHG released as much as the next person, but if the band doesn't want it released right now or something like that I think we should maybe respect that a little bit.

Hey KMH I'm in AA 105 so guess we'll meet tomorrow! I have seen the show before but never from the front row so I'm so looking forward to it. For some reason I've had this fear that I'll be so excited that I'll pass out. Silly huh.

I'm not even planning on purchasing it I would actually be much more interested in seeing a behind the scenes dvd of the band creating American Idiot. what's going on in their minds, how do they rehearse, writing songs, erasing lyrics, adding new lyrics, blowing off steam from creativity frustation, goofing around, laughing, joking, seeing a Green Day that isn't "staged"

It'd just be interesting to hear his response if it was mentioned (in a polite and cheerful way of course!), I'm sure we wouldn't get any earth-shattering info out of it but it'd be interesting. Pretty sure Billie could handle it

What's with the anal-retention? When I first heard Holiday I was kind of going through a time of not really listening to lyrics but just singing how they sounded, thus 'this is the dawning of the rest of our lives' became 'this is the dawning of the lust of our lives.' Hey, who knew it was a song about sex?
